I’ve never done solo diving, but I’m considering it more and more as my dive buddy keeps backing out on me. If I do decide to start going solo, it would definitely be at a site that I already know, I wouldn’t go far and I wouldn’t go deep. I’d stay in the shallow end of the pool until I started getting comfortable enough to expand. After all, my only real purpose for solo diving would be to maintain my skills when there was no one else to dive with.
