In the general info is this statement: "The diving instructors liability insurance covers you against liability claims which may arise as the result of your teaching activities"
In the Conditions of Liability is this:
3. In the event of insured events in the USA / US
territories or Canada or in the event of claims
being pleaded before courts in the USA / US ter-ritories or Canada the following provisions shall
also apply:
a) Section 3 III 4 AHB notwithstanding, the insu-rer’s expenditure for costs shall be offset as
payments against the insured sums.
Costs are:
- legal costs, experts’ fees, witness expenses
and court fees
I take away from this that your legal fees are paid within the insured limits.
