The sensors make up most of the price of an analyzer so the only real savings here is the price of the LCD since it uses your phone for the display which is something I try to keep away from saltwater.
BTW, if you have an analyzer on the boat everyone will borrow it, even the crew so do you want your phone being passed around the boat?
