Actually if you are paddle boarding or canoeing there is small trailer parking at the north jetty which will let you out pretty quick to the gulf. There is a public access just north of Sharky’s rest. that you may find a place to park and carry your board over the beach and the upside to that area is that is where most of the teeth are found.
