 Looking for a buddy to dive the Channel Islands of SoCal

I am temporarily working in the Antelope Valley and looking to take one of the dive charters to the Channel Islands (hopefully this Saturday, 4 August, or next Friday or Saturday). Would like to find a buddy to go with and not rely on hoping another solo diver will be on the charter. I have a request in to the Spectre to see if they have open seats for 4 Aug. Let me know if interested.

Ok, I have firm plans, going out on the Pacific Star to Catalina on 4 Aug. They do still have some open spots if anyone is interested. $110 for 3 dives.

Pacific Star is a great boat and their service is the best. Just mention to the DM that you need a buddy and he will no doubt help match you up with someone. I think you would have had a few takers had most of us local had not already booked a wreck dive trip in San Diego. If you like the Pacific Star, and I know you will, I have the whole boat booked for our next group trip to the Oil Rigs. 3 dives for only $85. Let me know. And then we will be going to Anacapa on the Spectre December 8th, 4 dives for only $95. Sweet deals when you book the whole boat :-)

Thanks for the info Rich. When is the Oil Rig trip? I don’t think I will still be in the area in December, probably leaving in October.

Sorry I left that out. Oil Riggs is Sept. 1 on the Pac Star. 3 dives for $85. Planning two on the Rigs + one reef dive TBD.
