P31 Patrol Boat is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Comino Island, Malta. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m.

Info: the P31 was a minesweeper named Pasewalk (GS05) when built by the East Germans before reunification. Sold to the Maltese in 1992 and renamed 31, being used as a patrol boat. This artificial reef is the sistership to the P29 in Cirkewwa. Later bought and decommissioned in 2004, then sunk in 2009. The wreck lies upright in white sand off camino in a depth of 22-meters (72-feet). The site is known for its clear waters, and it’s one of the best artificial reefs for OWD in Malta.

Very clear waters, and accessible to all certification levels. Really good dive for photography as it’s still shallow enough for colors to naturally filter down.
