Usually a very clear lake. Located between Pittsburg and Dangerfield off HWY 11, is great for boating, fishing, and enjoying the summer sun. Above average water tempatures make it a great place to play even if its a little cooler out.

Nitediver - 5/06/2014 3:54 PM Rating Added: 1 Viz was less than a foot. At 12 feet it was less than an inch! The power station was puping and this actually causes a current towards the north side of the lake. The water was warm temp between 86 and 88 depending in the computer we were looking at. Badlander316 - 5/05/2014 5:35 AM Rating Added: 2 We went on 5/3/2014 and vis was pretty bad. Locals said that it was at its worse and usually is much better. We believe the lake is turning, so a couple of weeks and it should clear up. 175yds from the boat launch, it was still only about 8-10ft deep but tempature was in the high 80’s. 93 on the surface. Beautiful area... we should have taken the boat. We will try it again before making a final ruling.
