Seawolf is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in East Moriches, NY. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 101-110ft/31-34m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m.

The "Seawolf", as she is called, is a large steel-hulled wreck that faces in an easterly direction. Her bow rises 10 ft or
so off the bottom. Most the wreck comes off the bottom only a few feet, starboard wall 2-3 ft relief. She has a large
fishing net draped over her amidships.

This unidentified wreck located 4 miles out of Moriches Inlet is also called the South Wreck. The wreck appears to be the remains of a steel schooner. She sits in 106 feet of water.

I went scuba diving here on 8/24/2014. Average viz: 11-15ft/3-5m. Water temp: 56-60°F/13-16°C.

This is a really nice dive. Lots of sea life, lobster, crab, black fish, sea bass and fluke. There are lots of loose deck plates to check under for bug hunters but care should be taken as there is a large fishing net drapped amidships. Vis normally ranges between 15 to 20 feet and the local fisherman are nice enough to leave us anchors to recover and sell back to them, a nice bonus to help pay for the trip...
