St. Pauls Bay is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in St Paul’s Bay, Malta. This dive site has an average rating of 4.14 out of 5 from 7 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m.

Teaming with marine life, great vis and because of the region the bottom is made up of white sand and towering rock formations with lots of swim throughs and plenty of marine life. Can’t say much as to the dive shops and such as I made my dives there from my Navy Warship.

St Pauls Bay is not the best of diving in Malta but for an island only 14miles by 8 miles there is some truly great diving with great wrecks from the easy shore to deep tech onto WW2 submarines and aircraft. Tanker and other vessels cleaned and scuttled for divers of all capabilities.
Many places you can step straight into deep clear water. Do not let the depth of some of the wrecks put you off. There are no tides to speak of and usually very little current making it an ideal place for someone to either learn to dive or for an already qualified diver to cut their teeth into other types of diving with a lot less risk.
St Paul’s Bay not so much but 500 metres away is the wreck of the Imperial Eagle and Statue of Christ in around 125 feet. If you get the chance for Malta DO IT!!
