I didn’t get to dive here because open water certification is backed up but I was just snorkeling on the public like "Junkaroo" beach next to the cruise port. I tried walking to the fort they filmed Bond at but forgot how to get there and didn’t have enough time.
So I’m posting here because my reason for diving there and relevance to film.
I snorkel dove down at Junkaroo next to the old rusted walkway thing they don’t spend money to replace. There 2 Lion Fish just floating next to the ghetto rust wall. They moved away from me a little and just kept floating there. I didn’t know they were these Lion Fish. I tried touching it. Then I got tried again fast and got stung by what must’ve been a transparent needle. The beach was so ghetto and boring I got curious like that. It was so stupid. Anyone who has been there knows what I mean.
It hurt very bad like a strong bee sting. No worse though. I did have a sort of anxiety moment but that was from Dani hotline telling me I need to pay for a doctor consultation.

So I scheduled it then fortunately talked to one of the few decent employees of the cruise who said it’s fine and will go away on it’s, probably one of those Lion Fish.
It was definitely 100% Lion Fish. It was darker than red looking, like black and white.
They’re invasive but they didn’t attack at all and actually avoided me.
So Lion Fish are right there very close to the sand right next to people in Nassau.
I doubt there is any remaining glass-like shards or stinger in my finger. The finger minorly swelled and down to the back of my hand.

The water by the way was nowhere near 100 feet visibility as stated on here for Nassau. It was no more then 10-15 feet.

I went scuba diving here on 3/16/2015. Average viz: 111-120ft/34-37m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
2nd dive this day. Great wreck site. Tons of tropical fish and other marine life. Saw a 12"flounder. Stuart’s Cove team was very pleasant.

Great visibility. They are growing staghorn coral here and relocating it out to the reef. Very cool. Torpedo holes in the hull of the sank vessel. Had an Australian DM working on the boat named Terry. Great Dive!

Was here in November 2013. Was good vis and water temp. Abundant marine life and corals. Seas a little rough but not too bad. Vulcan bomber is an aircraft main landing gear and the remainder is described as an unsafe erector set as it was a metal facade with canvas over to create the vulcan bomber. The remaining facade is covered with corals/etc but determined to be unsafe for swim through/under as it could collapse at any time.
