Itech_Supplies_Adrian - 8/03/2014 2:32 PM Rating Added: 1 Very poor vis. Approximately 1 foot until I got below the algae bloom. After that, vis increased to around 6 feet. I saw quite a few fish. Bottom is thick silt/muck. I picked up a lot of garbage from under the dock. The challenge with the vis is that there is little to use for orientation. Often I could see nothing—no bottom, no structures, etc. It’s like flying IFR. It’s good practice for search and recovery and it’s a great freshwater low vis practice site.
