Britannia Bay is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Brittania Bay, Western Cape 7382, South Africa. The maximum depth is 16-20ft/5-6m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m.
Typical West coast kelp forest - dense population of anemones, soft corals and nudibrancs.
Not very deep - average 4 meters so if you do a shore entry try for high tide and 1-2ft of surf max or you are in for a bumpy exit.
This is usually better in the summer when the South East winds clear the water.
