Gordon’s Bay - Australia

Loading...
Gordon’s Bay is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Clovelly Beach, New South Whales Nsw 2026, Australia. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 31-35ft/9-11m.

Most divers enter the water from either the small beach North West of the location marker here OR there is a concrete boat ramp on the North shore. Look for the small sign hidden along the walking path on the North shore showing the lay out of the under water navigation course. There are red metal drums along the bottom creating this Underwater Nature Path.

You should at least be able to see MANY sting ray. Also have seen Wobbegong shark here. Good vis. Check with the locals on the stinger situation. We went once when the tide was bringing them in and everyone was getting stung.

We really had fun here. Stingray, wobbegongs, a Western Red Scorpion Cod!! Very beautiful. Good vis. Underwater Nature Swim (or whatever u call it). Getting gear down there is kind of a pain in the butt.
