I went scuba diving here on 5/12/2011. Average viz: 81-90ft/25-27m. Water temp: 81-85°F/27-29°C.

This is a must do when diving the Exumas. It’s not really a dive site. At mid ebb tide the water from the mangrove estuary at Shroud Cay rushes threw its few cuts. Jumping into the rush water from the west side you are swept though the narrow cut and deposited on a sand bar. This is where you see one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. In spring "Tropical" birds nest in the cliffs and pair up in the rising wind.

This is one of my favorite places in the world.
