My first saltwater dive trip, just days after getting my open water certification. We went to Abaco Island in the Bahamas and I dove with two different outfits but only got photos of the "Dive Abaco" group, courtesy of the dive operator. There’s nothing much to do here except dive, fish or golf (I think) and it’s far away from the crowds at Nassau and Grand Bahamas. I recommend it if you don’t mind $50.00 for lunch. Hope Town is a ferry ride away and there are several dive operators in the area.

Abaco has world class beaches and diving. The reefs we went to near Guana Cay (Nippers Restaurant) are simply the best I’ve ever seen.
