Land’s End is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Bailey’s Island, ME 04003. This dive site has an average rating of 3.50 out of 5 from 2 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 36-40ft/11-12m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m.
Literally a small beach at the end of 24 South all the way at the tip of Bailey’s Island. There are no facilities, restrooms, or places to change in private. There is a nearby giftshop that would have a phone for emergencies only, but no facilities. There were plenty of lobsters and some small crabs to see on the sandy bottom. Must have a dive buoy with you as dive site goes right under a boat channel frequented by lobstermen. Thermocline right around 40’, anything deeper really gets cold and should probably use a drysuit.
