1st dive of the NBTT dive picnic. We split the two groups with the majority going to Deadmans. I tool Lily which is a relatively new diver and I led the dive while Lukas followed behind in case Lilli needed any help. The surf wasnt too bad for Crescent but occasionally there were a few large waves. Me and Lukas entered first and then towed Lily out just in case she didnt get the fins on in time. We dropped just outside the bay and headed toward seal rock. There were some spots with a bit of surge so I took us deeper and to where the kelp met the sand. It was a nice casual cruise through that reef and just amazing how many fish are there now. Great Dive. Surf showed 2 with South Swell and High Tide at 10:30 AM
