Dive # 280 - Great summer day for a dive and hunt at Honeymoon Cove. The tide was low making the entry a little slower then usual finding the footing on the stones. Then we went north and then west and dropped down just before the kelp forest in the middle of the cove. We hope to get some sand bass as we passed the sea urchin bed but no luck there instead found a weight pouch with 6 lbs in it. It had been there for sometime. We hit the kelp forest and there along a wall we found lots of fish. Javy got a female sheep head and I got a sand bass a a couple scallops. On our way back we were spied on by a couple playful harbor seals. Great nice long relaxing Friday dive. Get out and dive with us. (http://www.nbttdiveclub.com)
