Dives #273 and # 274 - This is one of the only shallow / recreational depth dive able banks in the Atlantic. It is where during the months of July and August pelagic marine life follows the warm waters of the gulf stream which turn around there. Named one of the best dive spots in the world. This spot provides a unique opportunity to view and interact with tiny and very large pelagic marine life. From schools of anchovies, barracuda, tuna, and nebula manta rays. Strategy is to watch your computer constantly and mind the currents picking up. Plan on about 8 minutes at top of bank (118 feet approx) then slowly move up. Try not to focus too much on the fish on the structures at that depth but take in the large amount of fish swimming up and around the bank. Be very careful with the currents as we experienced a calm 1st dive and then viciously ripping current about middle of the 2nd dive. Definitely well worth premium to dive.
