The current was so strong this day, the forty divers that participated struggled to not be swept in the current. I have dove this site the year before without any problems. It was 10 to 15 foot swells in the water. The dive captain should have decided on not taking out a group that day due to the conditions. Many divers were struggling and most had to get back on the boat due to unsafe conditions. I think Captain Slate should have told the divers this before the participation or returned a refund when the conditions were not good for diving, but he did not offer.
