saw a shark, crabs, puffer fish, and many other reef fish.
I was leading and had fun at first, but noticed my depth gauge did not work. I was checking based on Helen’s but realized hers was broken to only after Paul showed that we had gone too deep and were almost at 80 feet on a dive that was supposed to max out at 40 feet. This was scary. I had noticed that the light was darker, but had thought that the sun had gone behind a cloud. Next time check equipment when going down at the very beginning and pay attention to the different sound that the breathing makes below 60 feet.
