Last boat dive of our trip to Bonaire. Saw squid, angel fish & many others on reef. Eighteen Palms lies in front of the Plaza Resort with its many facilities, including a diving school, swimming pools and restaurants. The underwater life is quite interesting. Snappers, octopus, tarpon and barracuda are frequently seen. The reef runs from 6 to 12 meters, then drops steeply to more than 30 meters. Paid diving (unless entering from a boat). Angel City has a double reef, preceded by a shallow plateau. Unlike the dive sites Alice in Wonderland and Salt City, the second reef is relatively shallow and therefore accessible for beginners. The dive site is named after the emperor fish which you’ll spot on almost every dive at this location. Angel City is also a great site for snorkeling.
