Performed basic SCUBA skills with instructor in the ocean off of Kaakaako Beach Park in downtown Honolulu. Surge conditions made it very difficult to maintain position, and visibility was very low due to surge.


Had a Hammerhead Shark circling overhead during the class while we were kneeling on the sand in a circle performing mask removal skills.
