California winter day... 75 degrees with zero wind (from noon until 8pm) and flat water that was 57 degrees and 15+ feet visibility. There were few cars in the lot so we parked at the access steps to the beach. The sea life along the rock wall is incredible and we enjoyed the seal and sea lion visits too. Between dives, we had a meal at the BBQ place across the parking lot (next to the DS). Great clam chowder.

In the evening, the Livermore dive club took a dip while the new guy (me) supported them from shore. Maybe next time when I’ve got more time under my belt. Anyway, it was a great surprise to see my old HS teacher show up. He looks just as athletic as he did 30+ years ago. I now look forward to diving with him in the future!
