Water Type: Fresh
Entry Type: Shore
We entered the water with what we thought was a better idea of the crucifix’s location. We cruised around looking for it and then finally I decided to move to a shallower depth and we found it in a small depression making it hard to find if you were approaching at a low height off the bottom. The GPS coordinates seem to be accurate based on an onshore observation. We took compass headings on a few structures on shore so others will fined it easy to get to. The area as lots off interesting rock formations and old pier logs. The crucifix is viewed through the ice in the winter and we found an Iphone 5 near the crucifix that was probably dropped during last winters viewing. Here’s an article on how the crucifix came to be at it’s current location.
