I went with scuba diving with Transformation Scuba and the Project Aware/Dive Against Debris project. The purpose is to document and cleanup underwater debris at the local fishing/scuba dive location. We picked up 80lbs of debris in only a 40 yard stretch of the rocks. Entry/exit is tricky, you have to find a section of rocks that will allow you to gear up and then do a slow control seated entry. Exiting the water is equally tricky. Then add in the complication of waves created by passing boats. There is sea life to be seen, but the day I went the conditions were poor. The sandy bottom near the rocks was about 20 feet below, my max depth for that dive was 21 feet.
