The Great Lakes Wrecking Crew from ScubaBoard.com will be having their Spring Meet and Greet at Gilboa Quarry on April 23rd through April 25th, 2010! This is open to everyone. Hello All, Thought you might like to see this. The attached link to YouTube is not me, but is video of the wreck that I dove this past Sunday (July 20th). The wreck is of the M. E. Tremble. It was a three masted schooner that sunk in the St. Clair River on September 7th, 1890. The shipwreck is in 65 feet of water. Sunday, June 22, 2008 Well, today was my final dives for my scuba certification. The dives took place at Thelma Spencer Park in Rochester Hills, MI. It was a beautiful morning that lead into a beautiful afternoon. Partly cloudy skies with a temperature hovering about 80 degrees. As soon as we got there, it was time to set up equipment. Saturday, June 21, 2008 Well, day one of the Scuba Dive Cerification is over. It was a blast. Basically we did three dives. The first was a snorkle dive out to the dive platform to make sure we knew were it was and what is was like with our full 7mm suit, gloves, and hood on. Definately a different feeling than it was in the pool. The hood gets to be annoying. There is so much stuff to deal with. The second dive was a scuba dive. Put all the gear together. Open Water Dive Certification This Weekend!

Friday, June 20, 2008 Well, tomorrow I go for my final open water dive certification. The class is being held by US Scuba in Rocherster Hills Michigan. I just finished the basic scuba class this last wednesday. The open water this weekend is going to be at Thelma Spencer park in Rochster Hills, Mi. There will be 3 dives on Saturday and 2 dives on Sunday. Really looking forward to it! After that, I will be certified! I hope I am able to get some pictures this weekend and will post them next week!...
