Parts Headache

So after many a dive with my new gear, I managed to break my BCD. It was funny, well to my wife anyway, how it happened. We were pulling in the garage and I had laid my BCD on the side to dry out as I usually do. Well I guess I came into the garage at the wrong angle because somehow I managed to hit it and run it over. Thank goodness I had all the air out of it or I would have blown the bladder. Well needless to say there was some damage. HOWEVER, I didn’t realize it until my next dive. I’m gett...
Diving La Jolla Shore

I had a great time diving La Jolla shores this weekend. Viz was 30+ plus which everyone I dove with said was incredible. I had an awesome time going through the Sand Dollar Fields and playing with the Sea Slugs. On my second dive I found a small Leopard Shark (about 18") in about 70 feet of water in the Canyon. There were also tons of Rays in the shallows. Probably about 25 different rays we saw. Very fun trip....

All the more reason to make sure you do your safety stops on every dive, no matter how deep you go. UPDATE 20080618 So i went to my dive shop to get tanks and brought this story up. Apparently these guys WERE tech divers diving dry suits at Lake Pleasant. Well, one guy forgot to attach his low pressure inflator to his suit and got squeezed at 150 ft.(obviously right??...
