Megalodon
Shark tooth dive, Venice Beach, Fla. 2007. Pure muck diving, viz is about 10 feet on a good day, but, man,is it exciting to find a prehistoric carcharodon megalodon tooth. Sad thing is, this area is being bought up by private investors building on the water,and making it very difficult for the dive shops to find a public boat launch. The shop I dove with said by next year they may have to stop the shark tooth dives, because the only available public launch may be gone....
