A friend of mine invited me to go on the "Super Bowl" of shark diving trips! Joe Romerio of 333 Productions booked Tiger Beach with Jim Abernethy. There were 10 of us on this trip, all hand picked by Joe so I got to be with some phenomonal photographers! We left out of West Palm Beach on Jim Abernethy’s live-aboard The Shear Water. I’ve got to say this was one of the sharkiest trips I’ve been on so far! We arrive at Guadalupe at around 10am on Oct 12th. We anchored a few hundred feet from shore in Prison Cove. We were in about 200ft of water. A beautiful sunny day! 80 degrees and a slight breeze. The water there is the most amazing blue with over 100ft vis! I just spent a glorious week in St Maarten. The diving was awesome! Did 12 dives all together over 6 days. The dive shop and boats were right there at the resort! How convient is that! I dove with Dive Adventures at the Pelican Resort. Great people! They really made the diving fun. They gave us the most out of our air and didn’t cut any dives short based on time. Most dives were between 50-60 ft. The shortest dive was 41 mins and the longest was 56 mins. Almost all dives were in the 50 min range...
