Circleville Twin Quarries in Circleville, Ohio, a nice place to dive for beginner divers. The water temperture was a perfect 77 degrees. Only around 20 ft deep, not too large but great to practice your skills. On, Thursday, August 27th, I enjoyed a couple of good stress free dives with another cool diver from divebuddy.com. Oh,and as you can see your greeted by a wonderful welcoming committee of fish waiting for you to join in on the fun....

On Thursday August 19th I spent 10 hours on the road driving to Long Island to visit my daughter, it was really a dive trip in disguise but we won’t tell her that, and Hurricane Bill had the nerve to cut into the weekend and mess it up for everyone except the surfers.  A great big thanks to the West Virginia Scuba Divers and Divebuddy for giving me the opportunity to meet some great divers. I attended the Portage Quarry Legends Weekend August 7-8-9 and arranged to dive with a couple of great guys from the West Virginia Scuba Divers Club whom I met on this site. So here’s to Hobie and Charstew. By the way, Charstew, can cook some mean steaks.. they were great!
