Cold waters

Went diving a few weeks back in pompano. Dive shop didn`t seem to have it together. And it was miserably cold. First time ever in the water and cold. Brrrr. I think surface temp was around 70 and at 70 feet, it was something like 72. Brrrrr. I`m going to head up to North Carolina to visit family this summer. Am planning to dive there. I hope the water isn`t so darn cold!

72 F is about as warm as the waters ever going to get in the Great Lakes Basin... And that’s considered to be warm enough to wear 1/8 inch wetsuits either full or short.

thats not cold thats a good day in the summer,first dive last spring i think the water was 39 thats cold
