Looking for someplace to dive? Cannot wait for that next dive trip in a warmer climate? Check out this recent story by Curt Suplee in The Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/01/AR2008010101564.html?referrer=emailarticle

Beth, I think you are confusing the Aquarium Diver Program with the volunteer program for certified divers. The Aquarium Diver Program provides divers, meeting minimum age and certification requirements, with two, 30 minute dives in two of the Baltimore National Aquarium`s popular exhibits. The cost is $295. Coincidentally, my local dive shop, Divers` Descent SCUBA in Hershey, Pennsylvania, offered the same opportunity through the aquarium. They call it the Guest Diver Program, and it includes certification as a "PADI Distinctive Specialty--Aquarium Diver" for the same fee. Response was overwhelming, and they quickly filled all slots for the trip.--Thanks for your comments:-)-->Dave
