Diving for the Environment

This coming Saturday I`m going to do a bit more than my part for the environment. Like many divers I`m very aware that the sport we enjoy is dependant on our environment being protected. With this in mind if ever I see garbage floating by or littering the bottom I do my part and remove it from the water and dispose of it properly. That I feel is every diver responsibility. Saturday I`ll be diving for Project Aware with the folks of N Depth Scuba. This project is to help clean up Saguaro Lake in Arizona. I`ve never taken a dive there even though it is the closest lake to my home. So I`ll be hunting for junk in the local waters and wishing it didn`t have to be done but knowing that someone has to do it so it may as well be me. Logging a couple of dives doesn`t hurt either.
