Greetings Dearest Fellow Divers, I am an avid diver since 1995. My highest diving rating is PADI AI. One of my goals is to dive in every state in our great country. I dive year round;however, I prefer warm water diving. Looking forward to sharing some bubbles :)

It has been a while since I have been back to visit DiveBuddy. Since my last visit. I have become a Full Cave Diver and trying my best to get my wife to move us to Florida. Can you say Full Time Cave diving? :)

Thanks for your comments. Remember, the worst thing you can say about becoming an instructor is "I did it", and that in itself is a major goal. Hugh

Samer, if you continue to approach it with that attitude, then you are sure to discover the true benefits of being a dive instructor. Little things are what generate tips, interest in continuing education courses, and trips.

Something as simple as taking a camera (when you`re on fun dives with non-student customers) can give you that little edge on just who comes back to you as a customer.

One of the perks I provide my OW students, since I`m landlocked and have murky lakes to dive in, is a mask strap that says "Lake Diver" on it. After all, once they get certified with me, they are experienced lake divers, so why not let them show it.

Keep up the positive outlook,
Stoney

Florida West Scuba is who I go with, they are great. I actually showed up in August as a stand-by,(standing in the shop and begging to go along!!)hoping for a cancellation or no-show. I showed up at the shop and they had a no-show, so off I went. The capt of the boat gives a great talk before you dive on the history of meg teeth. It is just a fun dive!
