Advanced diver, working on Tec Deep Diver, would like to get DPV and Re-breather in future. Live in Marin, wish to dive Monterey, Point lobos and Monastery with experienced diver. I have every Thursday and Friday off, and every other weekend and Monday off, so every other week I have Thursday through Monday off. I am also looking for vacation partners for channel islands, Hawaii and Mexico.

Hey Ron, my wife and I are ok with you diving with us on Friday. Saturday I can meet up with you in Monterey and see where we can get in at. I think the best day will be Friday then the weather starts to fall apart. The reports are showing 4 foot swells for Saturday @ Carmel by the sea. That usually tells me that Monastery is going to be rough. Might be able to get in at Carmel River. That point blocks some of the wave sets when getting in. Let me know what you think.

Hey John, thanks for the company, I enjoyed getting back into the water, it was a little hard, mostly a little out of shape. I will start a good workout program to get back into diving shape. Keep me in mind for any future dives and I will also let you know, enjoy your weekend, R.

Hey Ron,

Im new to the NoCal area and am hoping to find some new dive buddies up this way interested in exploring Monterey and more specifically, Point Lobos. I am off every other wkend too, and varying days off during the week (RN here). Let me know if you are ever interested.
I am contemplating a dive 3/2 with a new dive group, so I was thinking about trying to hike/dive Point Lobos on 3/3- going to put out a feeler on here for others, but if that interests you at all, let me know!

I know the passes for Lobos are limited, so best to get them sooner than later. I have all my own gear, and my tanks are full. If you say you are in, I will go ahead this week and make the Sunday reservation to dive there. Have you been before?

hey kelly, just want to confirm I am in to dive on sunday 3/3, I will go down early, I may go on friday, sat and dive with you on sunday. I have been to lobos about 10 to 15 times, I have some nice maps and they have a nice 3d map on site. I also have all gear and tanks, I will stay at the lone oak lodge in seaside, just outside on monterey, it is a reasonalble price and they have a dive gear tanks to wash gear and dry. when you catch a good day, lobos is really great, look forward to talking with you and diving with youk, if you do not have a good dive shop, I recommend marin dive shop in san rafael, I assume you have cold water gear. any way let’s talk soon, I will try to send some web sites that go over lobos, take care, Ron.
