Hey Kyle, thanks for reaching out! Congrats on getting certified, and hey only going a couple of times is better than no times so that’s great! This has been an extremely busy year indeed! Yeah, I’ve never gone to Nelson Ledges, that was my plan to try to get out there in the next month or so but I have been out to Whitestar a number of times and just went out to Gilboa last weekend to get my deep certification! Pretty nice, pretty cold, as well. What dive shop do you go through? Where have you gone diving before?

Congrats on the deep cert! I got PADI certified through Dan’s Scuba in Twinsburg, but he doesnt have a retail shop. I work in Broadview Heights, so I have been going to Professional Diving Resources in Broadview Heights. The only dives I have been on thus far were my certification dives in Miami and Key Largo. I am planning to continue my diving ed, but want to practice for while.

I mean Miami and Key Largo aren’t bad places either heh. You can’t go wrong there. I don’t know of Dan’s SCUBA or PDR, sorry. However, the dive shop I go through Just Add Water SCUBA (JAWS) has regular Diving events all the time! They are located in Willoughby and Fairview. That’s trips and pool parties and classes. I originally did my cert through PADI but I also have the NAUI one, as well. JAWS is an SSI Center, some pretty great people and opportunities and whatnot. Someone at the at shop is diving all weekend every weekend. We all usually just go to Whitestar. There’s an event happening out there on 25 July and a lot of classes happening inbetween now and then that you can get your openwater dives done out there if you’re interested!
