Hi Even,

Thanks for your buddy request. This Saturday (7/26/14), United Divers of NH dive club will be having their annual Jay Lewis Memorial Picnic at UDNH VP Mike Hamel’s home on Lake Winnisquam. All are welcome to come. Swimming, snorkeling, & diving will be at 10:00 AM. Socializing & food will be at 12:00 AM. There will be free air. Mike has a professional grade Bauer compressor at his home. Mike has an underwater nav course off his water front. I see you only have four dives. I can be your dive buddy. You don’t need to bring food & beverages, but you can if you want. The address to Mike’s home is 13 Leighton Ave., South Laconia, NH. My cell is 603-533-2444. If you need concise directions, let me know. Our dive club (United Divers of NH) meets every third Monday of the month at the Manchester YMCA, 30 Mechanics street. We meet at 7:00 PM.Pool time (you can use scuba) is 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. "Decompress" is at Cactus Jacks in Manchester on So Willow St. All are welcome; bring friends or relatives. Sincerely, Willis

Willis, thank you very much for the invite! I will try to keep my saturday clear, as this will be an excellent opportunity for me to meet seasoned divers as well as other local divers. My friend Dan has been my dive buddy on 2 of my dives, and he hasn’t done any diving in quite a while. I will invite him to the picnic as well. If I did want to bring some food, what do you think would be needed?

Hi Even,

Hi Even, Thanks for the reply. You could bring a watermellon. The water off from Mike’s house is clear with a lot of glacial boulders. The water is not too deep. If you follow his navigation buckets on the bottom and scuba over to the island, the water can get down to 50-feet deep. Hope to see you and your buddy. Willis
