I just got my PADI Open Water certification in June 2011 after thinking "I should do that..." for about 20 years. So far, I’ve been diving at two locations: Maui and the Great Barrier Reef. Next - Lake Rawlings! It’s all the same, isn’t it?
The DC area isn’t exactly scuba Nirvana, but I’m looking forward to diving enough to stay current and doing AOW soon. I do need a local-ish dive buddy to go down to Rawlings or somewhere else around here once in a while, so if you’re interested send me a note.
