My partner and I live in Providence and we just got started with diving here (mainly "vacation" diving before now). Looking for someone or some people to do some local diving with.

Wait until you are on a dive with fish counters from REEF, you’ll be coming up bored and they will be going nuts because they saw a fish on their wanted list or one that shouldn’t be in that area!

It is all perspective, on a Coz dive the DM took us on a long swim against the current to show us a large lone nurse shark sleeping under a coral head. The others in our group were happy but I had just gotten back from the Galapagos where we were swimming with schooling hammerheads, Galapagos, whalesharks and silkies, ho hum.........

A diver I knew who had to put away his fins because of health reasons did his last dive at Fort Wetherill, I was unable to join him as I was on another dive trip and always wanted to try it.

Weather the dive is boring or not depends on what you are looking for, it sounds like you are looking at the big stuff where I would be looking at shrimp, nudi’s and the smaller crabs. It’s easier to get great pictures of stuff that can’t run fast :)
