I finally got my cert. in 2004. I’ve dived Cozumel, the Keys and a few places in Texas. I have tons of scuba pics I don’t mind sharing. I recently made a trip to the Keys and have several pics of the reefs in John Pennekamp State Park. I’m not much into diving in Texas. For me, diving Texas is just practice for diving in Florida or the Carribean. I’m interested in finding a group or a single dive buddy for weekend adventures to Destin and the FL panhandle. Gas is cheap right now so get it while it’s hot. I’m not opposed to diving in Texas or the Gulf although, I haven’t done it yet. Perhaps I’d rather dive where I can actually see the shore line! For the money to would cost to get out to the Flower Gardens, I’d rather fly into FT. Lauderdale for a weekend or so. It’s not a far drive to Key Largo from there either.
