well I can tell you I havent found any thank God, the sweeps i do I Charleston are for the Navy, anything that moores next to the training vessles gets searched, Navy S.O.P, IEDS dont bother me because i dont mess with them, Thats EODS job, its the bullsharks, alligators and other nasties in the cooper river that bug me...lol

Check bridge bents for things that dont belong, try using low light or no light to ID, if you have a target get out of the water and notify the IC which at this one was DHS and Duke Energy, nothing was found, every search is different, bridges are fairly simple, ships in the Cooper in zero vis can get a bit more difficult in how you approach the operation, thats about all i can tell you about it, its mostly training and common sense and know what your capable of and just how much of a pucker factor your nerves can take...lol

Interesting stuff. I wonder what the stats are on actually finding IEDs on infrastructure within the U.S. like this.
