Hello, I was diving the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach, FL.

I really enjoyed swimming with them. So big and gentle. Water was turbid due to the rain we had Sat and Sunday morning. I’ll have to go back with family in the winter on a sunny day.

thanks!

Yeah, vis is usually pretty decent there. Its about as good as it can be for a quarry. Little cold though!

Yep, that’s why we were running full power closer in to shore for the second dive. It provided an awesome view though for the ride.

Its worth every penny! Its one sick wreck!
divecrazy203 - 6/20/2009 11:52 PM

Thanks,

It took me awhile to realize just what I was looking at. I thought it was some red coral at first until I stayed really still and saw it move very slightly.

Thanks, have to get that white balance going.....

Every dove with Stuart Cove in Nassau Bahamas? That’s where that picture was taken. They are the best dive company I have dove with thus far. They send photographers down with you on the dive and take pictures of you which is nice. Their pictures always look nicer than anything I could take. That wreck was the Will Laurie.

Thanks very much. I’m trying hard to get better and better at my shots. These were taken at a dive site called "Old Marineland" which lies in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes in Southern California. My favorite spot.
madlobster - 6/16/2009 11:10 AM
thanks for the cudos

thanks for your comments...still practicing with my underwater cam and hopefully get better at it...BTW the shrimp was pointed out to me by the DM (www.searider.com) we were diving with at Sabang (Philippines)...i was surprised how he was able to see that almost transparent creature.

Yeah, we have quite a few dive sites off the coast here that are great for kelp forests. It’s great to coast through and around it. They really draw in other life.

You learn to keep everything tight and buttoned up pretty quickly. It likes to catch and snag on loose things, especially fin straps.

If you’re ever in the southern California area, let me know. We can hit up a few of the better spots.

Thanks! My first UW pics. I took this one last week in Cozumel under one of the swimthroughs at the Palancar Horseshoe reefs.
