This was so much easier to use. Maybe I can get back on line with you.

Thanks Greg.

Changed my profile picture, why isn’t it different?
scubaman - 4/24/2014 6:05 AM
Well dive members I am back. Would like some input from you guys. What would you like to do?
scubaman - 4/23/2014 8:27 AM
It’s nice to be back. I was pretty sick about 2 years ago, almost didn’t make. It took me this long to build my body back up. now I’m starting to feel like my old self again.

It will nice to hear from dive friends again.

Just wanted to see how you’re doing. I haven’t seen you on DiveBuddy in a while.

Dudley, here is the press release from San Marcos.

Aquarena Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Project is scheduled to begin October, 2011

All Diving for Science Volunteer diving and classes will be restricted from Spring Lake during the projects removal of the old Sky ride, 2-Submarine theatres and other underwater structures remaining from the Aquarena Springs Theme park.

The last day for volunteer diving and open water diving is September 18. This is because the Habitat Restoration Project is scheduled to begin shortly after that date. The Army Corps of Engineers will be working on the project. They will fence off the area and no volunteer or open water diving will be allowed during construction. We do not have an exact day for the completion of the project. However, we’re expecting the project to be completed late spring or early next summer.

sorry i thought i had answered that. Yes
artrod60 - 10/10/2011 9:36 AM
would a 3mm wetsuit be warm enough to use. Do you know what the average water temp is for nov. ?
artrod60 - 10/09/2011 5:04 PM
pulled the picture from the online version of the new braunfels newspaper. hard to say when i will have time to get away from work. You have to pretty much give me a date for an event or meeting and let me work towards making time. I have been thinking of Balmorea (not sure on the spelling). I would like to go dive that site. Does the dive buddy team do other dives where they try to get together around central texas?

Good morning!

It is in Clear Lake - just south of Houston - about 30 minutes from downtown. There is usually a large number of vendors. I picked up a ScubaPro Nighthawk last year - with warranty and Air2 for $300.00 in the box. Lots of LDS’s sell off stock for the winter there. Also, the "Boardwalk" at Clear Lake has lots of nice restaurants and a generally nice place to spend the weekend should you decide to drive in for the Expo.

Dive safe,

Ben

I know the feeling, I had my left knee replaced in March and was able to do 50 dives this year. I am having the Right one done next month the 4th of Oct. I am positive that I will be ready for next dive season, and will do my normal 150. Be safe my friend, and have a good year.

Jupitermermaid - 4/11/2011 11:49 AM
It’s getting to be really good now! The water temps have been 77 F and vis is about 60’. Will only continue to get better as the spring and summer come. :-)

Pricewize, $50 a night for a single room, single person, $75 for doubles, $40 for sleeping baggers.
Jupitermermaid - 3/01/2011 2:01 PM
I’ve got two bedrooms, one family room "suite" that can fit 4 (2 on a sleeper couch and 2 on a queen inflatable, and a very comfy divan in the living room. If you need more room people are free to bring a sleeping bag....there’s plenty of space if people don’t mind sharing.

For group rates, the price of a two tank dive is $50 rather than the normal $60 price. Tanks and fills are not included. Let the shop know how many people are diving and on which days so they can reserve the spots.
