Spent a week in Belize at blackbird Caye resort in Feb on Turneffe Atoll. Thought I would just pass along how awesome it was. Super isolated island, only thing there is the resort. So no crime, all gear left overnight on the boat. Only thing to do is dive, drink and eat. Since everyone is isolated no worries about covid, 3 meals provided + snacks during the day. They really took care of us, handled all our gear, rinsing it out every day and all setup. All we had to do is show up at the dock (about 100 yards from the rooms). Was easily the easiest and most enjoyable trip I’ve been on. since it’s the same group of folks all week and we dive and eat together we got to know everyone really well and made some good friendships and are planning future trips together. One highlight was coming back from a dive we ran into a large pod of dolphins so jumped in and got to watch them for a couple mins, they didn’t hang around long but it was amazing.
