Anyone interested in diving this Saturday, Sunday doesn’t look good weather wise?
I would like do a simple dive to check out gear.
Manasquan RR Bridge or Mclearie Park would be my first two choices but I am flexible.
High tide is around 12.
For those who don’t know—-Mclearie Park is easy shallow dive 13’, the RR Bridge is more challenging and deeper 25’

Hi, Greg:
I’m interested in this, but I need a little more information. Is it fresh or salt? What’s the temperature at this time of year on average? What time are you going in? I’m coming from PA. I’d like to do the the Maclearie Park dive since I haven’t been there before, and I’d like to take it easy. Thanks for the info.

Greg I have a family function I need to go to so no :(

Joe the water is about 50 and a mile up river from the ocean at both sites, you’re entering at slack high tide so mostly salt.

Joe,
High tide is 12:30 today and 1:15 on Sunday.
MaClearie Park is boring this time of year. But current isn’t much of a factor.

Point Pleasant RR Bridge has more to see but we would go in at least a 1/2 hour after high tide.

We might go Sunday if the Rain holds off.

Thanks for the information guys. Sounds cool. Unfortunately, I can’t make it this weekend. Maybe another time.

Ray,
I disagree, the water is only about 3.5 % salt.

Sure, Greg. I’m probably doing lake diving later in the summer. I’ll let you know. Please keep me in mind if you’re doing more diving in NJ.

Thanks,
Joe G.
