The whale shark was so massive and accompanied by so many smaller fish that it resembled “a rolling cloud” that was “larger than a school bus.”

That’s how you spot them, a school coming toward you that normally wouldn’t swim that way but they are using the whale shark as a moving reef and that side is protection from preditors.

That is amazing. very infrequently this happens in Key Largo on a deep wreck...the Duane or Spiegel grove...we see a whale shark. I wish it happened more!
