No DIN tanks at Divi Bonaire

I have DIN regulator and wanted to use in Bonaire. Only one dive shop on the Island has DIN tanks and they happen to be the highest priced too. Using a Yoke to Din converter extends my regulator to close to my head. I asked Divi could I bring Din valves, they said no. What could be the problem with me supplying valve that’s Din/Yoke convertible? What other solution or problem do you all have to offer?

A. They may not want the liability of your valves on their tanks in case of a failure. An insurance and liability nightmare in the making.
B. Are their din tanks 3500psi (small neck) tanks? If so 3442 convertable valves wont fit anyway (lrg neck). Buy a yoke first stage and swap over or pickup another reg set with yoke or pay more for a din tank rental. How much price diff is there?

Invest in a yoke regulator. Small price compared to what you will spend on trip alone. Good excuse to buy more gear.

The only DIN dive shop that was the highest priced is now reasonable, Tropical Divers
