Is there any camera on the market that can take a 5 hour dive video? I can’t seem to find one.

The extended battery packs for go pro are great. I run out of memory before I kill the battery normally.

I think the go pro is good down to 60m/197 feet, they make lights for them as well.

What I’m reading on those is that they only get about three hours of footage. Do you get more?

In what way are you using a camera where you need 5 hours?

I’ve never tried running it for five straight but I’ve shot several hours cut up over a period of several days without charging on one.

I’ve done right at 5 hrs with the Go Pro, with Wi-Fi turned off. This was on land of course, but it maxed out a 64gig card.

Was that with the extended battery?

No, standard battery. I have 4 batteries that I rotate, 1 Go Pro, 3 aftermarket, eBay probably, lol. But the aftermarket ones have a slightly better mAh rating. Think it’s 1290 vs 1180 on the Go Pro brand.

Hey guys, I had a thought. Since I do hookah diving, I’m tethered to my boat via an air hose. There’s no reason why I can’t get a corded video camera and just bind the cord to the air hose.

What do you guys think?
