Has anyone ever used Dressel Divers International for any of their dive excursions or certifications?

More specifically ~ has anyone had experience with them in the Dominican Republic? Traveling there with a few people in June and wanted to see if anyone had any input on them. And if you’re there between the 18th and 25th, let me know...could make a "DiveBuddy" party out of it. :)

Any other suggestions for that general area would be helpful.

Thanks!!! THE EGG

Hi:

I have a friend who is currently working in The Dominican Republic as a dive master. I am sure David would be happy to help you if he can. E-mail, david.cutler [ at ] justice.com

Let me know how it goes. I have dived with Dressel in Cozemel, but not with them there. The dives were fine. It was 7 yrs ago.

I’m familiar with Dressel from Cozumel and they were a cattle boat operation. They were $60 for a single tank dive at the time. They had you on the boat, in the water and back on dock in an hour. Once with them was enough. Ed

I checked out Dressel and decided to dive with Scuba Caribe. If you’re up on Bavaro Beach, they basically serve alternating hotels on the beach. We were at the Riu Palace and the Scuba Caribe shack was right beside the pool. Check my blogs, and you’ll se my whole report on diving at Punta Cana. If you can arrange it, take the day trip to La Romana and dive at Catalina.
